It depends on who you ask. To Mr. Daniels it was authentic, he truly believed and felt that Ally deserved the poem. Ally believed it was not authentic, she believed that when you compared her poem to eveyrone elses it was not the best poem from the class. Mr Daniels gave it to her beacuse hs said it was truly her best work. The award was intended to be authentic, however it was not precived to be so
