11 ft shadow. Find the height of the kite. If necessary, round your answer to the nearest tenth.

It looks like you have a right-angled triangle with hypotenuse of 12 and a base of 10 
h^2 + 10^2 = 12^2 
h^2 + 100 = 144 
h^2 = 44 
h = √44 = appr 6.6
