The network administrator has assigned you to plan the topology for a new network. it will need 30 hosts. what subnet mask will be needed

its simple just 255.255.255.224 or /27 which give you total 32 host with 8 subnets but host that can be assigned are 30 because one is going to be the broadcast address while the other one is going to start the next subnet so that's why we can't use 32.
