What evidence do we have that Paleolithic people had developed a capacity for language? Could Paleolithic people have survived in the ways that they did without language?

Respuesta :

Paleolithic people were able to travel long distances and build settlements. This would require people to communicate and work together effectively. Setting up a complex social system requires language in some capacity. In addition, Paleolithic people were able to express themselves through Cave Art. Art is an expressive method of communication that takes complex thought processes to accomplish. Creating art and understanding as art mirrors the capacity and the ability for language and communication.
