In this case, you know that a number of strawberries (8 pounds) and the cost ($25.25). Then to find out how much the cost of 1 pounds strawberry you just need to divide the cost with 8. Since the unit used is all same(all use pounds), you don't need to do any conversion. The calculation would be:
$25.25 / 8 = $3.15625
