there is a midpoint formula.....m = (x1 + x2)/2 , (y1 + y2)/2
example : find the midpoint given the end points are (-1,2) (3,-6)
m = (x1 + x2)/2, (y1 + y2)/2
(-1,2)....x1 = -1 and y1 = 2
(3,-6)...x2 = 3 and y2 = -6
now we sub and solve
m = (-1 + 3)/2 , (2 + (-6)/2
m = (2/2) , (-4,2)
m = (1,-2) <== ur midpoint
