The prime suite system is an integrated electronic health record and practice management software purposely designed for outpatient providers in medical organisations.
It has a flag function which serves as reminder for providers. Two examples of common flag usage are:
1. They are used to record very important information about patients in their file. For instance, a flag can be used to remind clinic staff that a particular patient is HIV positive.
2. It can also be used to keep track of a patient's billing record.
