Sylvia's assessment of Miss Moore in the beginning was that she is a mysterious and spooky person who is always clouded in the shadows, this was perhaps because of her name and she thought she has always talked about useless things but at the end she changed her view about her and thought of her as a kind, thoughtful and respectful. This all happened due to the field trip where she observed a different perspective and came to know Miss Moore better.
