In that time “Papyrus” derived from “Cyperus papyrus” was used to write medical records and prescriptions. Papyrus was a native plant in Egypt and apart from using this plant in many other forms, one was to use it as writing pads, the written document on this was also called “Papyrus”. In some cases Stone tablet were also used to do the job.
