A coastal plain is a regions of low relief, adjacent to a body of water.
Some significant coastal plains include:
-The Atlantic Coastal Plain; Cities in this region include: Miami, New York City, Norfolk etc.
-North European Plains, also known as the Lowlands; Cities in this regions include: Amsterdam, Hamburg, Copenhagen etc.
