The distance between 2 points A(x₁ , y₁) and B(x₂, y₂) is as follows:
(AB)² = (x₂ - x₁)² + (y₂ - y₁)² And
AB = √[(x₂ - x₁)² + (y₂ - y₁)²]
AB = √[(6+4)² + (2-7)²] = √[(10)² + (-5)²] and AB = √125 = 5√5 or 11.18.
