One of the biggest achievements of Theodore Roosevelt's foreign policy was that it moved the US from an isolationist nation into a nation of global power. He wanted to show the world that the United States was powerful and not to be tampered with (The Big Stick Diplomacy). Also, he created the Roosevelt Corollary which basically stated that the US should have international policing power and had the right to interfere with Latin America, Southern America, and the Caribbean Nation's economy. The final foreign policy that Roosevelt enacted was the building of the Panama Canal, that made traveling from the Atlantic to the Pacific much faster and easier.
