First you would have to multiply the numbers which gives 12r-14r-15=0. Then you want to add similar elements. -2r-15=0. Then you add 15 to both of the sides -2r-15+15=0+15. Then you simplify -2r=15. THen you want to divide both sides by -2 which gives you. -2r over -2 = 15 over -2. THen simply again, and your answer will be: r= - 15 over 2!
