The most powerful influence over a student's attitude and behavior towards alcohol use is probably because of peer pressure. Other individuals led or to be driven into having to do behaviors like drinking because of their friends who convinced them into having one because they will likely tell them that they weren't cool if they didn't do it or other things that will drive the person to engage with such acts.
