The rise of Christian sects encouraged the migration to American because it reduced the worry of people having to migrate to a foreign place without a church to go to, at least in their sect. Christianity was not practiced by the native Americans and the spread of the religion and its different sects motivate the people from Europe to bring their lives to the New Land.
