Photosynthesis and Cellular Respiration dependent on each other as can been seen in their chemical formulas. In that, the products of one are the reactants of the other. This means that photosynthesis uses what cellular respiration produced to start its process and vice versa. The product and reactant we most commonly think of is carbon even though there is a bit more to the equation with it being 6H20 +6CO2. Photosynthesis removes carbon from the atmosphere and cellular respiration releases carbon back into the atmosphere.
