Specifically, it represents the radius of a circle within which there is a 50% probability that the bomb's impact point will fall. If a weapon system has a CEP of 20 meters, it means that 50% of the bombs dropped will fall within 20 meters of the desired point of impact (DPI). Therefore, the number of bombs that will drop within 20 meters of the DPI would be approximately half of the total number dropped.
