Despite his surprising 2010 season, the Selection Committee did not consider he was eligible to be part of the Hall of Fame because his personal score dropped considerably on 2011. If he had continued with his 2010 performance, he might have had better chances. Anyway, remember that the NFL Hall of Fame Selection Committee recognizes players for their outstanding careers once they retire and not for one particularly good season.
