Usually, mixture problems have three amounts. Two of those are usually the amounts being mixed and the third is the mixed amounts. Then, you need to identify the "x" or the variable. You need to assign the x properly to the problem. Let us say for example that you need to have 15 liters of mixture. Then you put some x liters to the other component of mixture. Therefore, the other component would be "15 – x liters". Then finally, solve the equation and you will eventually get with the right amount.
