When a writer's opinions are not objective, they are identified as subjective. This means that the opinions stated are based on the writer's beliefs and values. Subjective opinions are written to persuade readers into believing or leaning towards the views and values of the writer. It does not let the readers decide for him/herself based on his/her own values and beliefs.
