Aptitude, by definition, is the natural ability of a person to do something like talent, while interest by definition is in which what a person likes to do. There is a difference in what you can do and what you want to do. Therefore, in choosing a career, it is important to based it on your aptitude because it will come naturally and raw.
Aptitudes are the internal talent and capacity regarding specific knowledge or skill in an individual. On the other hand, interest shows the preferences in the forms of likes and dislikes of an individual.
Therefore, aptitude could be learned through the training process while interest is not learned but is based on the behavior of people.
The aptitude in a career helps to understand the personal skills of the individual, which may form their strength and expertise. Hence, a career that may utilize your aptitude would enable the individual to get growth and success in their work.
If the job a person is not fully utilizing his aptitude then it would hamper his productive efficiency and motivation at the workplace. Hence, the person may feel dissatisfied in his work settings as the job does not interest the person.
