One visible evidence that European culture is mixed with indigenous culture is that during the Byzantine period, on Constantine's era. It was an era of religious crusades and colonization of indigenous people. Because of chaos due to religious differences, Constantine decided to fuse the practices of these people into one or where everyone is at par.
