The statement above is TRUE. In America today, political advertising is serious business. Financially, televised political advertising consume at least half of the total budget for a major political campaign. Despite this huge amount spend on campaign, during 2012 election it was observed that although some states in the United States were saturated with political campaign advertisement, some states, such as Pacific States, hardly got any presidential campaign advertisement.
