Joe Leaphorn was a fictional character which has created by Tony Hillerman, who was a mystery writer. He was as traditional as his grandfather. He valued him a lot. He was a police officer and to handle the crimes he used his Navajo believes. He uncovered the culprits using his old traditional belief-system. In Navajo, they believed that nature and man depend upon each other. Moreover, we can’t separate them. He doesn't trust O'Mallery and possess the character by Federal agencies.He doesnot intervene with the quality.
