Our teacher a cold gentle girl, who wore glasses with the gold rims and in the stiff solicitude of certain poses resembled a giraffe, wrote something on a piece of paper and showed it to Myra. And Myra recited uncertainly. "My Brother has had an accident, please, teacher."
