"how did the edict of nantes end the french wars of religion" by setting out the means by which huguenots and catholics could co-exist within france

Respuesta :

The Edict of Nantes was signed in 1598 by King Henry IV of France. The Edict separated civil from religious unity and treated the Protestants much better than before. It offered the amnesty and the reinstatement of the civil rights to the Protestants ( the Huguenots ). Now they had the right to work in any field or for the state. The Edict put a temporary end to the religious wars.
