Usually when you watch news coverage of sports the male athletes are shown playing "manly sports" while the female athletes are shown playing "girly/sissy sports" ex. During the olympic commercials you typically see male athletes participating in weightlifting, soccer, and sharp shooting, while the female athletes are seen participating in sports such as gymnastics and cycling. This is because they are seen as "easier" and "gay" if a male plays them in some cases. Oh how society has messed us all up.
