If the lake is 60 miles away and we may is driving 40 mph the entire time how long will it take we need to get to the lake

Respuesta :

irspow
d=vt,    distance equals velocity times time.  Solving for t, divide both sides by v

t=d/v  we are told the distance is 60 mi and velocity is 40 mph so

t=60/40

t=3/2

t=1.5 hours

So it will take an hour and a half to get to the lake.
Distance / speed.
Time- 60/40
Time- 6/4
= 3/2. The answer is an hour and thirty minutes. Hope this helps. :)
