We will factorise the expression
[tex]y^2-y-6=(y+2)(y-3)[/tex] substituting this value in the given expression we will get

we can rewrite it as
[tex]\frac{y^2(y+2)(y-3)}{y(y-3)(y+1)}[/tex]
Cancel out the common factor which is y and (y-3) we wil get
