Structurally, I believe that Susan B Anthony develops her argument in favor of universal suffrage in the US in a very well ordered manner in her speech regarding her fine for voting. The structure seems to be the following; 1) quotes the US constitution and shows that true liberty must be for all American citizens not just 1/2 of them 2)where it says "we the people" she again states it must be all the people of the US 3) the discussion of sex and disenfranchisement opposes the idea that only the men in a family have rights to choose a government and develops the idea that if this is the case then the US is not a democracy but an aristocracy and 4) discusses that women are people and thus are citizens. In other words she develops her argument very logically and it is a passionate plea for justice.
By briefly mentioning her crime in the introduction and then presenting facts from respected documents before giving more details about the crime near the end.
