On the playground you overhear an adult tell a child that jumping rope is only for girls. how would you address the situation?

First of all, I would approach the child and tell him/her not to believe what the adult just said. I will tell him/her that jumping rope is for kids like him/her and it's perfectly normal. Then, I would tell the adult respectfully that he/she shouldn't label things based on gender.
