what is 30% of ( ) equals 60, find the missing number.

ALso if possible please provide your strategy for finding this awnser so I can use it in the future, i am actually studying for my finals exam

Solution:
Let us rewrite 30% as $\frac{3}{10}$. Let x be the missing number.

$\frac{3}{10}(x) = 60 \\ x = \frac{10}{3}(60) = \frac{600}{3} = 200$

and we are done. 

Note: You can do the same method by saying that 30% = 0.3 which would then show us that 60 divided by 0.3 is 200.
