Together with his son, Odysseus made a plan to defeat the suitors who were in his kingdom. His son, Telemachus, will return to the town first and mingle with the suitors. Odysseus will follow him and disguise as a beggar. No matter how badly they will treat the disguised hero, they agreed that they’ll never strike the suitors. They will wait for the right timing. Telemachus will have to hide the entire armory in the storage room and only leave arms for themselves. In this way, the suitors cannot fight them back. If any suitor will ask him about this, his excuses are for them to be cleaned for the next king and because he doesn’t want the suitors to harm each other when they have already have too much to drink. The plans worked because without the weapons, the suitors were not able to fight back.
