Third person omniscient is a point of view where thenarrator knows all the thoughts, actions, and feelings of all characters. The author may move from character to character to show how each one contributes to the plot.

The third-person omniscient is a type of narration in which the narrator has access to the personal thoughts and feelings of all the characters. This is often compared to the perspective that God would have, as the narrator is able to see everything and know everything, even the things that the characters do not state. An easy way to identify whether this is being used in a sentence is by paying attention to whether the narrator is able to get inside the mind of more than one character.
