The main difference between them is that The National Wildlife Refuge System occurs around the country, meanwhile, the Pacific Region Coastal Program focuses mostly in areas along the Pacific Coast. Another difference between them is that the Pacific Program focuses on restoring wetlands and forests and the National Wildlife Program focuses on retaining areas for wildlife habitats.
