Slope of line
m= (y2-y1)/(x2-x1)
=(-4--6)/(6--2)
=2/8
=1/4

Line in two point form
(y-y1)=m(x-x1)
y--2=(1/4)(x-6)
y+2=(1/4)(x-6)
simplify
4(y+2)=x-6 =>
x-4y-14=0
Alternatively, use the slope intercept form:
y--2=(1/4)(x-6) =>
y=(1/4)x - 3/2-2 =>
y=(1/4)x -7/2
