The surface area of this figure consist of several different rectangles. The surface area of the figure can be calculated like this : A = 14 * 6 + 8 * 6 + 14 * 6 + 2 * ( 14*14 - 8*6 ) + 8 * 6 + 6 * 6 + 6 * 6 = 84 + 48 + 84 + 2 * ( 196 - 48 ) + 48 + 36 + 36 = 216 + 2 * 148 + 120 = 216 + 296 + 120 = 632.
