Satire is a literary genre which uses wit to socially criticize issues from different sectors, e.g. society, government, businesses or even individuals. Horatian satire was named after the ancient Roman satirists Horace. This specific genre is termed as playful. Mostly, it's mocking societal norms in a playful way, wherein the reader may laugh at the society or even him/herself.
