Answer

Find out the  what is the volume of the cylinder .

To prove

Formula

[tex]Volume\ of\ oblique\ cylinder = \pi r^{2} h[/tex]

where r is the radius and h is the height of the cylinder.

As given

An oblique cylinder has a radius of 10 units and slant length of 26 units.

slant height²  = radius² + height²

put the value in the formula

26² - 10² = height ²

676 - 100 = height²

576 = height²

[tex]\sqrt{576} = height[/tex]

24 units = height

[tex]\pi =3.14[/tex]

put in the above formula

[tex]Volume\ of\ oblique\ cylinder = 3.14\times 10\times 10\times 24[/tex]

                                                       = 7536 units ²

Therefore the volume of the oblique cylinder is 7536 units ².
