What was Abraham Lincoln and john browns beliefs on slavery

 Lincoln appeared to support the belief that blacks did not deserve equal treatment of whites. Brown's belief that slavery was a national crime that would only be purged with blood.

They thought according to the constitution all men are equal and there for slavery shouldn't exist however before the civil war Lincoln only wanted to stop the expansion of slavery but soon later in war since we won we ended up cutting it off for good.
