Crusades helped to undermine feudalism. Selling and purchasing of lands, by the nobles, affected feudalism. They affected the power, role, and wealth of Catholic Churches. They sold their lands to raise money for the crusading expedition. The private war also died out due to the departure of feudal lords for the Holy Land.
