The Sistine chapel’s ceiling was painted by Michelangelo and
the subject matter of his painting in the ceiling was the scene in the book of Genesis
which is the creation of Adam and Eve. The ceiling was painted around the year 1506.
The ceiling also shows the illustration of how God made the world.
