Hello! I'm doing a CR (constructed response) on culture and i was wondering, what is the difference between eastern europeans art and americans art?

American painting is more of observation while European art was more about xerxes.
What I mean by this is that European painting refers to the cultural and art historical traditions that have preceded it.
American painting is curious of seeing and accurately rendering what is in front of the artist
