What two countries fought as allies during ww2 became enemies after? What style of government did each have?

I believe the answer is the US and Soviet Union. After WWll they fought in the Cold War. Soviet Union was Communist and US had a democratic government.

I think the USA and the Soviet Union were allies during WWII but then later on they turned against each other, in the event known as the "Cold War". Where the USSR (soviet union) and the United States stayed far apart duo to superpower conflicts and the nuclear and the missile arms race.
