 (m^2) (- m + m) + (3 + 1) =
 m^2 + 4
Either your options are wrong or you might have put the wrong sign somewhere?

6. (5x^2 + x - 3) - (-2x^3 + 4) =
 (- 2x^3) + (5x^2) + (x) - (3 +4) =
 -2x^3 + 5x^2 + x + 1
