does anyone know what emotions does this poem convey?

I remember when I was afraid
A long while ago.
Now I’ve had time to be brave.

I remember many years ago
When I was young
Now I’ve had space to grow.

I remember when I used to cry
An eternity ago.
Now I’ve learned to lie.

Now that I’m older
I’m not sure I enjoy it,
But there doesn’t seem to be a cure
For growing up.

In this poem, the narrator is remembering, and showing his sadness on the fact that everyone grows up and begins to gain the ability to become something else, he isn't exactly showing regret than he is showing remorse that its just a way of life. But like the raven in edgar allen poes short story, remembering hurts. but in this poem, its only to a certain degree. Hope this helps. Brainliest? PLEASE?!?! ;)
