Describe the differences between substantiated and unsubstantiated opinions/claims. Which one is more effective in an argument?

Respuesta :

Substantiated opinions have support for there claim while unsubstantiated lack evidence and support.

Of course substantiated opinions are more effective because they can be proved by information, history and science .

please vote my answer branliest! Thanks.

A claim that was not substantiated (an unsubstantiated claim) is one that has not been proved as true or valid. It is unconfirmed; unproven; unsupported.

Generally speaking, a substantiated claim would be the exact opposite of the one described above. It is a statement that has nothing to do with opinions, known to be true, or supported by evidence.
