This is the normal nucleotide sequence on a DNA strand:
A—C—T—G—G—A—T

What is a substitution?

1.) A—C—T—G—C—G—A—T

2.) A—C—T—G—A—T

3.) A—G—T—G—G—A—T

4.) A—C—U—G—G—A—U

Respuesta :

the answers is 3 because the secon C was changed to a G.

1 and 2 are incorrect because you do not have the same number of bases as the original sequence. 3 a base was change to the U, which appears in RNA not DNA.
I'm late ik but the answer is actually A-C-T-G-C-G-A-T, and trust it is right because I took the test and the answer below was wrong. But it's not like I'm good at this stuff
