The population of Adamsville grew from 8,000 to 13,000 in 6 years. Assuming uninhibited exponential​ growth, what is the expected population in an additional 5 ​years?

So this is saying that it grows by 5k a year. So 5 times 5000 is 25000. Add the 13,000 and you should get 38,000.
