My older son Ben is quite a good juggler. He got in some trouble once when he left a set of clear acrylic juggling balls, like these, in the back end of our Ford Escort station wagon while it was parked for a long time in the sun. Why do you suppose I got a little mad at him? The juggling balls

Respuesta :

You probably got mad at him because the melting point of acrylic is 320°F and a parked car can reach temperatures of about 123° F after 60 minutes. I doubt they would have melted but how long was the car parked because that might affect it.
